Growth Groups are an integral part of Engaging Life at The Bridge. As our church grows larger on Sunday, we grow smaller during the week. Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God and make a difference in our community. We encourage everyone to be involved in a Growth Group on a weekly basis.
What are Growth Groups?
Growth Groups include 10-15 individuals that meet weekly for a period of 10-12 weeks. A
Bridge Growth Group is a safe place to be yourself, pursue God and make some new
friends.
What happens in a Growth Group?
Each Growth Group includes fun fellowship time as well as a time to apply God's Word
to our daily lives. Prayer is also an important part of connection with God and others.
Growth Groups last an hour and a half.
When do I join a Growth Group?
At The Bridge, we have three semesters of life groups in each calendar year; February--
May, June--August and October--December. Sign up months are January, May and
September. Watch the weekly handout and website and listen for Sunday
announcements so youʼll know when to register for a
group. You are free to remain in the same group or switch groups at the session
breaks.
Can I join a group mid-semester?
It is best to time your entry into a group when the groups begin each semester. This
helps the group to get to know each other well and build trust in one another. If you are
looking for a way to get involved and you are in between life group semesters, we would
highly recommend that you check out a Play Group for a
chance to get to know some people before the next Semester begins.
How do I join a Growth Group?
Joining a Growth Group is easy! You can use the Growth Group Catalog on Sunday
and simply check the box on the Communication Card on Sunday and write the Growth
Group number your interested in next it, you can use the FIND A GROUP LINK
or you can swing by the Welcome Center.
What if Iʼm interested in leading a Growth Group?
Joining the Team at The Bridge, as well as, leadership training are
required for our Growth Group leaders. It is also advantageous if you have participated
in a Bridge Growth Group prior to leading a group. Contact Jeff Manley at
