To Share God’s Love Through Servant Evangelism With Our Community.
As the name implies, a primary purpose of this offering is will be to reach out to our community through Servant Evangelism. Servant Evangelism is a simple method of reaching out that shares the love of Jesus in a tangible way. We made 1,300 touches on Black Friday!
To Fully Fund The 2010 Benevolence Ministry.
Since the beginning, our church has served people at their time of greatest need. To date, we have been able to approve all valid requests for benevolence funding due to your generous giving through regular offerings. The Benevolence Ministry has allowed us to come alongside of people in distress due to difficult financial times, a death in the family or a need for Christian counseling. We are anticipating and preparing for an increase in benevolence requests in 2010 as we continue to grow.
To Work Towards Permanent Space For Bridge Offices and Ministries.
As a new church, it is challenging to support the internal ministries of a growing and thriving church while remaining mobile. Families want and need times for their children and teens to grow and that means having the space to do so outside of Sunday mornings. We are actively seeking space that will house both offices for our staff and enable us to extend our ministries beyond our Sunday service.
The LIGHT offering will ensure that we continue to aggressively share God’s love
with our city through Servant Evangelism, while at the same time ministering to
the people of our city through benevolence and counseling, and working towards
a permanent space for The Bridge to come alongside families and
equip them for growth!
